Clwyd West MS Darren Millar has welcomed news that a Denbighshire village is to benefit from the latest round of National Lottery funding.
A total of £62,273 was awarded by the National Lottery Community Fund in January to Yr Ifanc yn lal in Bryneglwys.
Welcoming the news Darren said:
“It is always great to hear of groups in my constituency benefitting from National Lottery Funding to support them in the vital community work they carry out.
“The sum awarded to Yr Ifanc yn lal is substantial and will be used to reinstate play equipment on the playing field in Bryneglwys, so that young people in the village can access outdoor play opportunities as well as giving them and the wider community the opportunity to socialise and build stronger community links.
“I wish to congratulate Ifanc yn lal on this funding windfall and wish them the very best with the venture.”
