Clwyd West MS Darren Millar has applauded Coleg Llandrillo for ensuring that students can learn in a safe environment amid the Covid-19 pandemic.
Darren visited the College’s Rhos-on-Sea campus on Friday to meet with Principal Lawrence Wood and to hear more about how the college has adapted to enable learning in spite of the coronavirus restrictions.
Following his visit he said he was very impressed by the systems in place to make the campus safe for students and staff.
He said:
“It has been extremely challenging for colleges and schools to open safely and I know many parents were understandably apprehensive about their children returning to educational establishments after the summer break.
“It was therefore reassuring to visit Coleg Llandrillo on Friday and to see first-hand how well they have adapted.
“The measures that have been put in place throughout the campus are impressive, and students, staff and parents can rest assured that everything possible is being done to protect them from this awful virus.
“I would like to thank the Principal, Lawrence Wood, and his team who have clearly worked extremely hard in recent months to create this safe environment.”
