Clwyd West MS Darren Millar has applauded a premier agricultural show which returned this month for the first time since 2019.
The first Denbigh and Flint Show in three years was held on Thursday August 18th and saw crowds come together in competitions and displays in all things farming.
After being unable to hold the event due to the pandemic, organisers were delighted with the turnout.
Darren attended the event and met with the Farmers Union of Wales, the National Farmers Union, the North Wales Community Health Council, Big Cat Researcher Rick Minter, the Federation of Small Businesses, and St Kentigern's Hospice, who asked him to draw their raffle.
Speaking after the event, he said:
“It was great to see thousands of people flock to The Green in Denbigh once again for this popular event following a three year break due to the pandemic.
“I had a thoroughly great time watching some of the shows and visiting the various stalls.
“I congratulate all those who helped to organise such a fantastic day. There’s no better celebration of rural life in North East Wales.”
