An online community session will be available next week for those wanting to find out more detailed information about the North Wales response to the Ukrainian refugee situation, how they can get involved, and how to set up a 'Ukraine Community Support Hub'.
Following on from the session held on Friday 18th March - Welcoming Ukrainian Refugees to our communities, Link International, in partnership with specialist contributors, will be holding the online session on Wednesday 30th March 7.30pm – 8.30pm.
Welcoming news of the session and encouraging people to take part, Clwyd West MS Darren Millar said:
“Russia’s invasion of Ukraine has caused the worst refugee crisis in Europe since the Second World War. As the Ukrainian government is currently not permitting men aged 18-60 to leave the country, most of these refugees are women and children.
“Their situation has touched us all and so many people have come forward to offer their support. Some people want to help but are not sure how. This online session will provide these people with all the information they need and I very much thank Link International and their specialist contributors for making this session available to all.
“It is very simple to take part, just click on the Zoom link below on Wednesday 30th March at 7.30pm.”
