Clwyd West MS Darren Millar has applauded a Denbighshire caravan park which has already expanded its facilities and is now looking to develop the site further.
Darren visited Llanbenwch Caravan Park near Llanfair Dyffryn Clwyd on Friday to meet with Gwion and Sara Evans and hear more about their plans for the future.
Llanbenwch now boasts a farm shop and outdoor hospitality area where people can enjoy a cuppa and light snacks while enjoying panoramic views of the Clwydian Range.
The couple are constructing new shower block facilities for their customers and the site includes a dog walk area and recreation field where locals and visitors can enjoy Pilates classes.
They have also secured planning permission for a new purpose built cafe, shop and carpark to facilitate the business.
Following his visit, Darren said:
“It is always great to see businesses in my constituency thriving. Despite the pandemic, Llanbenwch Caravan Park is going from strength to strength and I commend Gwion and Sara for all they have achieved to date and for continually looking to develop the site further.
“The site is a real asset to the area, and guests must be delighted on arrival with such an array of facilities on offer. There's even a donkey called Twm to keep the children (and young at heart) entertained!
“I wish Gwion and Sara every success and look forward to visiting again once the new facilities have been completed.”
