Clwyd West MS Darren Millar took to the mic this week for a spot of karaoke with residents of a Colwyn Bay home for adults with physical disabilities.
Darren visited Leonard Cheshire’s Eithinog, which is situated on the Old Highway in the town, to meet with residents and staff on Monday.
The home provides care and nursing for 34 adults, day care and independent living training.
Darren was impressed by the facilities and level of care provided at the home and enjoyed chatting with residents and joining them for a karaoke session.
Speaking after the visit, he said:
“It was a pleasure to visit Eithinog this week to see for myself the excellent care and support provided to residents and others who come to take advantage of the services it provides to the wider population.
“During the visit I chatted with very happy residents, enjoyed karaoke in the activities room, and had the opportunity to meet the hardworking staff and volunteers who provide such high quality care and support.
“I want to thank Leonard Cheshire for hosting the visit and look forward to continuing to support the charity in the future.”
Leonard Cheshire have been supporting disabled people for over 70 years.
In the UK and around the world, the charity works hard to break down barriers that deny disabled people their basic rights.
