A scheme which helps residents save money on their energy bills could be rolled out to residents in the Sandy Cove area in Kinmel Bay.
The Arbed scheme aims to install appropriate energy efficiency measures in properties across Wales to help people who are struggling to effectively heat their home.
Residents in Llysfaen are already beginning to benefit from the scheme and earlier this year it was announced that a scheme is also being developed in Pensarn and part of Belgrano.
Darren is therefore delighted that Arbed am Byth, who deliver the scheme, are now aiming to help residents in Kinmel Bay’s Sandy Cove.
Darren said:
“This scheme is fully funded and can help to cut people’s heating bills through measures such as insulation, energy efficiency measures and renewable technologies. It can make a huge difference to people’s pockets.
“In order to take forward the scheme Arbed am Byth will need to undertake free energy performance assessments of as many homes in Kinmel Bay as possible. Initially they are focusing on addresses in the Sandy Cove area, with a view to widening the scheme to other areas of Kinmel Bay at a later date.
“Residents will soon receive a letter from Arbed am Byth but they don’t need to wait to book an appointment for an assessments they can do so by contacting Arbed am Byth on 03300 414 647 or [email protected]. The sooner they are done, the sooner a scheme can be brought forward.”
