Commenting on the report that a family cut their North Wales holiday short due to a lack of open attractions, the Shadow Tourism Minister, Darren Millar MS, said:
“This time of year North Wales is usually awash with tourists, but the Welsh Labour-led Government’s sluggish approach to re-opening Wales is causing many to go elsewhere.
“I cannot stress enough just how important the summer period is for so many businesses across the country, yet the Welsh Government's restrictions are still preventing many businesses from re-opening and others are simply unviable.
“It is crucial for the protection of jobs and livelihoods that the safe re-opening of Wales is accelerated. Bringing forward the date for when indoor hospitality can re-open would be a good start."
