The First Minister has confirmed that nail bars, cinemas, and museums can re-open from this Monday.
Darren Millar MS – the Shadow Minister for Covid Recovery – said:
“This is another welcome move to re-open the Welsh economy to protect livelihoods after four months of restrictions.
“However, yet again, these establishments are going to suffer another lost weekend of trading. Unless there is a valid reason - which should be provided – nail bars, cinemas, and the like should have been allowed to open from today.
“The dithering Welsh Labour-led Government does not seem to understand the importance of weekend trading for businesses and the jobs and livelihoods which depend on them.”
