Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board’s dire record on treating vascular patients means some will have to travel to Liverpool for treatment.
The arrangement comes after two more “concerning” incidents, which follow damning reports that showed patient safety was breached on multiple occasions in the department.
Commenting, Welsh Conservative and Shadow Minister for North Wales Darren Millar MS said:
"These services clearly aren't working. The Health Board cannot continue to put patients at risk of serious harm or death.
"The Welsh Government must act immediately to put vascular services in North Wales into special measures to address the serious shortcomings which have been identified and ensure that no one else suffers as a result of the poorly executed reconfiguration of services in the region.
"These failures cannot be allowed to continue or patients and their loved ones will, quite rightly, hold Welsh Ministers responsible for the harm being caused."
