Clwyd West Welsh Conservative candidate in tomorrow’s Senedd elections, Darren Millar, is helping to raise funds for a popular community centre which is in need of an upgrade. 

Last week Darren visited St Joseph's Parish Community Centre in Colwyn Bay to meet with Fr Frank Ryan to discuss the needs of the centre. 

He was shown around the building, which has been used by various groups for a wide range of activities over the years, and told of the work that needs to be done. 

Darren said:  

“The centre is a beautiful old Victorian building in Colwyn Bay's conservation area and funding will be required to make the building fit for use so it can be sustainable in the future. 

“I have therefore  offered to support the parish to seek grants towards an improvement project. 

“Buildings like this are few and far between and it is vital that we do all we can to preserve them for use by future generations.”
