Clwyd West MS Darren Millar and North Wales MS Sam Rowlands were among the scores of people who attended a live screening of the King’s Coronation at Towyn’s Festival Church on Saturday.
People of all ages flocked to the church to watch the crowning of the King and to join in the celebrations.
Darren said:
“We had a fantastic day celebrating the coronation. There were refreshments and activities for the children.
“I took my handbell and rang out 'God Save the King' after the event and the children all had the opportunity to ring the bell too!
“There were flags and bunting everywhere and each attendee was given a commemorative Coronation Gospel with King Charles on the cover.
“I am sure all those who attended will remember the momentous day for the rest of their lives, I know I will.”
Sam added:
“The Church was very keen to mark this historical occasion in a way that people of all ages could enjoy, and that was certainly achieved. It was a very enjoyable day and one that we will all cherish for many years to come.”
