Clwyd West MS Darren Millar paid a visit to Royal Mail’s Ruthin Delivery Office last week to thank them for all their efforts during the pandemic.
Darren was given a tour of the busy office in Ruthin and got the chance to meet postmen and women.
He also heard about the work the team did to ensure parcels and the post were delivered in the area during Covid lockdowns.
Darren said:
“I had a great visit to Ruthin Delivery Office and was extremely pleased to have the opportunity to meet up with our much-valued posties and thank them for their hard work, particularly throughout the pandemic where there was a big increase in parcels.
“Like all work places they have faced many challenges due to staff having covid and having to isolate. Yet, in spite of all these difficulties over the past two years, they have continued to deliver a first class service to all the areas they serve.
“I am very grateful for all their efforts and I am sure everyone will join me in thanking them for all their hard work.”
