Clwyd West MS Darren Millar has signed local Books of Condolence for Her Majesty The Queen and is encouraging those who also wish to do so to visit their local Book of Condolence or leave a condolence message online at the Royal Family website.
Darren has signed Books of Condolence for Her Majesty The Queen at Denbighshire County Council offices at County Hall in Ruthin, Conwy County Borough Council offices at Coed Pella in Colwyn Bay, Abergele Town Hall, and St Asaph Cathedral this week.
Darren said:
“I know people in both Conwy and Denbighshire are keen to pay their respects to Her Majesty The Queen and signing a Book of Condolence is a lovely way in which to do that.
“In Denbighshire, Books of Condolence can be found in libraries in Denbigh, Llangollen, Prestatyn, Corwen, St Asaph, Rhyl, Rhuddlan and Ruthin. These will be available during normal opening hours.
“A Book of Condolence is also available at County Hall, Ruthin (Monday to Friday: 9am-4.30pm). People can also send a condolence message through the Council’s online form on its website.
“The Books will be open until 5pm the day after the funeral has taken place.
“Meanwhile, in Conwy members of the public are invited to sign one of the Books of Condolence at Bodlondeb in Conwy and Coed Pella in Colwyn Bay.
“An online Book of Condolence for those who wish to leave messages is available on the Royal Family website: https://www.royal.uk/send-message-condolence.”
