Despite the challenges of the pandemic, an Abergele family attraction is busier than ever and has received a huge thumbs up from Clwyd West MS Darren Millar.
Manorafon Farm, Touring and Camping, which is situated next to Gwrych Castle in Abergele, has been popular with locals and visitors for years and despite having periods of closure in the last 17 months due to Covid, the business is thriving.
Last week Darren visited the attraction for a tour the site and to meet with Managing Director, Will Arrowsmith, and was very impressed with all it has to offer.
He said:
“Manorafon is in an absolutely fantastic location and I am not surprised that it is so popular.
“It provides pitches for caravans and camping as well as safe children's play areas, a maize maze, and a farm animal trail which allows visitors to get up close to KuneKune pigs, pygmy goats, alpacas, Angora goats, rabbits, chickens, meerkats, lizards and more!
“It's a great place for all the family and attracts tens of thousands of visitors every year.
“With staycations more popular than ever due to the pandemic, the campsite has been extremely busy this summer and I was pleased to hear from Will that, despite the challenges they have faced over the last 17 months, the business is continuing to grow and Will and his team are constantly making improvements for visitors to enjoy.
“I thank Will for inviting me to visit and wish him and his team every success for the future.”
